When I try to move any type of data on this drive it freezes and message says that data has been lost..., Adaptec sees it as U160 SCSI with no name in utilities checklist, Windows let me do the Management and so, bu 31Gbt is not accessible. HD has no bootable sector. Any suggestions please

Need a bit more info - is it actually a scsi drive ? what scsi controller do you have and has the scsi interface been setup. To boot from a scsi device you set it up in bios
