No video output

Specs: Windows Vista
My Acer E2180 desktop suddenly quit outputting video. There is no video at all. Nothing happens at start up. The box seems to work okay, but its hard to tell.I've tested the monitor, all good there. Would a new PCI-E video card help?

video or ram, my guess, depending on if computer locks up or just fails to display. if you got some ram laying around,
try that (not definitive however, as some rams incompat.
with some cpu). if your computer seems to boot but no vid,
(ie: responds to kbd/mouse but you have to sense this,
since no video: try a shutdown seq. or F8-> safemode etc.)
try borrowing a vid card from some loser (like me) who still
has them (they're all on mboard now) and try.

My HP Pavilion Slimline s3100n is doing the same thing. I tried other known working monitors, speakers, keyboards & mice. Nothing is getting any signal outside of the computer. The memory & hard drive tests fine in another computer. The fans work, the power supply seems to work, the CD drive drawer goes in & out.

I am wondering if it could be the low voltage supply from the PSU. The video in built-in on the motherboard. I thought about trying a PCI-E vidoe card ut with no response from the POST or lights on the keyboard/mouse I'm thinnking it's the CPU or motherboard. Any ideas?
