no video, no error beeps,system running fine

Specs: Windows XP
hi i'm new to this and pardon my english it's not my first languange. i don't have any video but my system boots fine with no beeps other than the short beep at startup. i can even switch on my tv card via remote. i have onboard graphics. could the onboard graphics be the problem even though there are no error beeps. any help is appreciated. thanks

Your English & grammar are better than some of the "native" English speakers.

Try another monitor.

Do you get any Post or Bios display?

If you see nothing, then it is probably the graphics. You could buy an AGP or PCI graphics card rather than replace your motherboard.

Before posting try google. Backup. Use anti virus software.

no, i do not see post or anything else. the screen is completely blank as if the pc was shut down.i will follow your advice and try a new graphics card because the monitor works fine, i've hooked it up to another pc successfully.
