Hey i connected my computer up to my bass guitar amp for a party and after the party i re-connected my speakers and there was no sound, so i re-connected my amp again and still no sound, i have disabled n enabled all audio devices on my comp and still nothing also i have gone through volume control and nothing is muted. anyone got any ideas?

does the bass amp work with the guitar?
dont guitarists know that the input from a guitar is low impedance and the output from a pc high impedance? (thats why u cant plug your guitar into your computer!)
sounds like you blew the soundcard

yeh the amp and bass work fine. I used my bass lead and a big2small jack to connect it to my comp. and Btw you can plug your guitar into the computer and do recordings using a 8-track like program. It uses the computer just like it uses a 8-track. How much is a cheaper sound card guna set me back?
