No sound without using earphones

Specs: Windows 7
I have a Samsung U600 as a spare and I tried to use it after some time and the speaker and ring tones do not work.If I wish to hear the caller I have to put in the earphones.It does vibrate when rung but no sound.

If it is stuck in headphone mode,how do I take it out ?I've gone through all I can see on the menu and nowhere does it mention headphone modebut on the home screen I can seethe iconlike headphones

try pressing the # key for 5 seconds, it may be stuck on quiet mode.

From the specs for that phone:

Sound Alert types Vibration; Downloadable polyphonic, MP3 ringtones
Loudspeaker Yes
3.5mm jack No

Do you have any ringtones installed?

There is music showing on my media tab but I cannot see ringtones

Hii Alexander13,

Since your system has no sound without earphones..then your system's audio has been infected. Check the audio volume control from control panel if the settings are alright.
I think some mis-settings have lead to such problems
