My laptop will not startup properly. The autofix cannot fix it, it tells me to contact the system administrator. But cannot because warranty expired. No idea what to do

Have you tried to boot into safe mode?

while the laptop is booting and you see the POST screen, tap F8 a few times, this should bring up advanced boot options, from there you can select 'Safe Mode' this will take some time to boot so dont worry.

Try that first, if you can get into Safe Mode then we will let you know what else to do.

I know it won't help but YOU are the system administrator and always have been unless it is in an office.
