No power, despite there being power.

Specs: Windows 7
Plug in the power brick, nothing! Power to the brick is indicated by a green led which is visual. Any hints or tips would be rewarded greatly, Thanks

The logical thing to do would be to plug the computer directly into the socket and see what happens. If you still get nothing, check the power cord that plugs into the computer. If that's seated, your power supply is shot.

Thanks for the tip, no sense in pluging it to the computer directly as there is no start up. The power brick is working because the green l.e.d. it lit on the power block, this light I assume is indication of power block is OK, anyway, seems my prob goes much deeper than anyone knows here abouts, I guess I will have to get a schematic and track it down manually, Have a good one....Stephen
