I know other people have similar problems already posted but none of the suggestions have solved the problem. My computer, after a year or so of working fine, completely froze. I tried to power down and reboot but now it wont post. The fans and hdd led come on but the monitor gets no signal and there are no beeps. I have tested the cpu, ram, monitor, and graphics card in another computer and have replaced the motherboard. I have disconnected everything except the essentials but it still wont post. If it was a power problem, shouldn't it work after I disconnect everything? Can the hard drive prevent it from posting? What else could the problem be? Thanks for any help

Yes, the HDD can prevent it from POSTing. All you need for a POST is a Motherboard,a Processor, 1 stick of known good RAM, a video card (if you don't have onboard video), and a power supply. If it POST after disconnecting the HDD then I'd say the HDD is bad.
