ok, getting a little frustrated....im buildin a new computer...the mobo is an ASRock K8upgrade-VM800, AMD Athlon 64, with 2 sticks of 512MB ddr400 RAM. That is all that is plugged in....I got it to boot to POST once! that wasnt even the first time I tried to get it to boot. I tried reseating the cpu, RAM etc etc etc. the power supply is supplying power(also I have tested with a power supply tester and its fine). When I did get it to POST it was after I reset the cmos jumper and removed the cmos battery. upon restarting no more post....is this a mobo problem?? is it possible the cpu isnt getting power? or what...HELP PLEASE

Use the ClearCMOS jumper to reset the BIOS, then bootup & adjust all the BIOS settings as necessary

I am getting a similar problem.

I just bought a new mobo, cpu, ram and graphics card.

2Gb Kingston ram
ATI Radeon 9600 XT
AMD 64 3700
DFI Lanparty UT NF3 Ultra-D

I put all the comonents in and started up the PC. Everything starts as it should but I am getting no input to the monitor from the graphics card even thought the pc is running. I have tried 3 different graphics cards but still getting the same problem.

I gutted the PC, cleared the CMOS and put back together but still no screen.

Could it be a faulty mobo or something else?
