no output signal

Specs: Windows XP
I am getting a message on my monitor that states no signal. The monitor or key board doesn't come up (no lights/does not work). I do have lights and fans working on the tower so I assume the power supply is ok. Can I assume the motherboard is the issue? Any way to test and find out for sure what the problem is? I hooked another computer up and the monitor and keyboard works fine.

Some specs on your system or a model number would be helpful. Just because a couple of lights and fans work doesn't mean the PSU is good.

I would actually suspect the PSU to be the problem.

Were there any symptoms leading up to this?
