ok so i finally got all my pieces for my new computer, but when i boot it up i get no display and no beeping and my thermometer display thingy reads L degree Celsius..., i tried unplugging everything and leaving just my CPU, Ram and thats it (graphics are integrated)and i don't get a beep i took out the cpu thinking well it should beep now there isn't a cpu and there wasn't a beep, i removed ram no beep no nothing ever, everything is spinning and lighting up and whatnot just no display and temperature reading, i also tried reseting bios and nothing, i do remember at one point when temperature was giving me a reading (air temp as it wasnt connected yet)it beeped i then realized what was wrong and fixed it, everything went downhill when i placed some arctic silver stuff and placed my cpu thermometer thing then heatsink, then i got L degrees and no beeping i assumed the no beeping was fine and it was just the L degrees, my ram came in tonight and when i placed it in still same probs PC: CPU: Athlon 64 3200+ RAM: 1GB DDR 400 HDD: 20GB ex wont give me back my 250 :S GPU: Geforce 6150 Laptop: CPU: Turion 64 x2 Tl-50 RAM: 2GB DDR2 HDD: 160GB GPU: Mo x1600

Move bios jumper to alternate setting and try to boot to a dos prompt.

ok that didn't work jean, i found an old PCI graphic card that i know works (i tested it) and am using that instead of integrated graphics, I also tried to clean the cpu socket in case maybe i got silver compound stuff in the holes i checked my cpu pins and still nothing, i also reset bios in case i haven't mentioned that before, i removed my stick of ram so that i can hear the ram error beep and still nothing, i know the cpu is doing something cause it gets hot, i have no idea whats wrong i also dont have another 939 pin mobo to test my cpu in and don't wanna go to a repair shop cause im broke and its -30 Celcius degrees out there PC: CPU: Athlon 64 3200+ RAM: 1GB DDR 400 HDD: 20GB ex wont give me back my 250 :S GPU: Geforce 6150 Laptop: CPU: Turion 64 x2 Tl-50 RAM: 2GB DDR2 HDD: 160GB GPU: Mo x1600
