I just installed a Geforce4 Ti4200 on my computer, but now when I turn the power on I get no display, the monitor is in rest mode as if the computer where turned off and during the boot sequence the pc speaker beeps as if something were wrong(which it obviously is). The fan on the graphics card is turning so the card should be correctly installed. I have a amd duron cpu. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Ok I solved the problem and I feel a bit stupid now. I gave the card a slight push into the socket that didn't even move it, but now it works.
