No bootable device and no boot disk

Specs: Windows 7, CPU ? RAM ?500
Have no bootable device & screen doesn't change from following. Bought new os 6 months ago:
Broadcom UNDI PXE-2.1 v12.2.8
C 2008-2009 Broadcom Corporation
C 1997-2008 INTEL Corporation
All rights reserved
PXE E61 media test failure check cable (laptop I'm using to post problem is working with cable
PXE-MOF Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM
No bootable device etc

The computer is trying to boot from the network device instead of from the hard drive, which usually indicates that the hard drive has failed so you need to remove it and install a new one.

Before removing the hard drive I suggest you boot into the BIOS (setup) screens and check the boot order (CD, hard drive, other) and weather or not the hard drive is being detected.

Have you previously gone into those settings and made any changes or have you changed the hard drive in the past?
