OS: Vista Ultimate x86
CPU/Ram: q6600 2GB DDR2-667
Model/Manufacturer: Acer AM5630
Comment:
After trying to make any changes to my computer the system refuses to boot. I tried installing another SATA HDD in the machine. The computer simply sits there with fans at 100% and wont even go into the BIOS. Everytime I try to swap out an optical drive or anything it does this. The power supply and HHD work fine. Even after removing the new HDD the system still doesn't boot.

Try disconnecting all drives that are connected to the motherboard. Then, look for a reset jumper on the motherboard, set it to reset and start the computer. Does it POST now?

Spinning fans doesn't necessarily indicate a good power supply.
