no beep code from my motherboard,
my pc i have moved houses and tried to turn it on, to no avail. It does not display anything nor give a boot beep on startup.
i have unplugedd gfx card and sound and tried one by one, the motherboard has its lights come on and powers up the hdds and dvd-roms and fans.

taking out the memory the produces the beeps (matching what my mobo manual says). therefore is it likely to be damaged ram from preventing the OS to boot up.

Try re-seating all RAM, cards and cables.

Is that the same ram that was in it before when the computer worked fine?

If it isn't, such as if you tried other ram you have, the mboard may not boot, you may get no beep, if you have ram installed that is not compatible with your mboard.

Ram does not go bad spontaneouly from you just moving the computer.
However, if the ram was not all the way down in it's slots when you booted after having moved the computer, that can certainly damage it.

If that or any cards were not all the way down in the slots when you booted after having moved the computer, that can also damage the cards or the PS.
If the graphics card is damaged badly enough, the mboard will not boot, and you may not get the expected video error beeps either from the mboard. If you're not sure if it was all the way down in it's slot when you first tried to boot try another video card.
However, since you get the ram error or no ram beeps when no ram is installed the PS is probably okay.
On the other hand, failing PSs are common. They often partially work yet the mboard will not boot. You could try another PS anyway.

If nothing else is wrong, you should get error beeps in a different pattern when the graphics card is removed, if it's the only video. The mboard will not boot if you remove the video card and that's the only video.

it is the same ram as when i moved it, but it only 3months old replaced crucial memory for a module that became corrupted in June.

i always double check the connections/cables and sure that they were sitting in the pci slots correctly, however on transportation they may indeed came loose, before i started it up, and thus caused the damage.

i shall try another graphics card,
if not i think prehaps the ram is in a state in which it not working but at the same time the mobo thinks it is (hence no beep code) when booted up.

the psu 'seems' ok, powering all other things like i said.

Try on stick of RAM at a time. Be sure you are inserting correctly and not backward.

If you get error beeps with the RAM removed (which is correct) and no beep(s) with the RAM installed, that sure indicates a RAM problem.

It's extremely rare for ram that was working fine previously to go "BAD", unless something external to ram damaged it, such as power spike or surge or a power failure or a lightning strike near you or on your AC power grid, or the computer power supply failing.

Most often the problem is caused by this:

A common thing that can happen with ram, even ram that worked fine previously, is the ram has, or has developed, a poor connection in it's slot(s).
This usually happens a long time after the ram was installed, but it can happen with new ram, or after moving the computer case from one place to another, and I've had even new modules that needed to have their contacts cleaned.

See response 2 in this - try cleaning the contacts on the ram modules, and making sure the modules are properly seated:

However, if the ram you replaced it with was working previously, that probably has nothing to do with your present problem.
