When I turned off my computer to take my lunch and turn it on again after 30 mins. there is no response at all. No beep, no display from the monitor but there's power from the motherboard and other components. When I remove the fan of the processor to check it, I found out that it is not getting warmed. My MB is an ASUS CUV4X-C and my CPU is a P3 1ghz. I can't figure out where the problem is, if it is the MB or the Processor itself. I don't have any spares of mb an cpu.

Hope someone can help me soon.

remove the ram modules from the system and switch it on. If u hear any beeps from the system, ur mb and processor are ok. otherwise clear ur cmos settings by the information u have in ur mb manual..

tnx M.Saravanan, but i've tried that already. i even changed the memory. cleaned the ram, slots, mobo and changed the Vcard but still got no response from it.

I tried to test my processor and mobo from other PC. I got a working P3 733mhz processor from my office and test it in my mobo but still no beep no display (w/ jumper setting set for 733mhz, & processor is not getting warmed) then i test my procr. to a working mobo "apollo pro 133", still no nothin. but atleast my procr. got warmed.
i don't know the setting of that mobo (apollo) for my 1ghz procr. i dont even know if it supports that speed.

M.Saravanan tnx for ur reply but i still need some other suggestions before i decided to buy another mobo or procr.

tnx again
