no audio in my PC with XP-Pro SP2

Specs: Windows XP-Pro, Intel C2 duo- 2 GB
the PC recently Reformatted . it is Intel Core 2 Duo with 2 GB Ram.
Although the Audio Drivers along with all other drivers are installed,there is no sound from the Speakers connected to it.will any of you please help me ?

If you have high definition sound you need to program the sound ports to correspond with the way you have the speakers connected. Do you have a program called sound manager, or similar?

Post the model of your computer or if custom built, the motherboard.

I believe the HD audio is included in SP3. Since you appear to have SP2 you either need to update to SP3 or install the "Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) High Definition Audio class driver"
