Comment:
I have an HP Pavilion a6210z (came with vista) after downgrading to xp my on board sound stopped working. After many failed attempts at getting that working i was told that putting in a new sound card would solve my problem. After installing A Soundblaster Audigy SE still no success. Although it shows up as working properly in device manager and sound and audio devices hardware... under default device it says No audio device. i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling a few times including once after disabling onboard audio and switching the pci slot as told by me to to by the manufacturer... if anybody has any ideas i would be eternally greatful
