Hey i have a few problems with my new system. My mobo is an ABIT NF7-S and for some reason i just can't get my onboard ethernet to work. So right now i am using a pci network card so its no big deal but i'd like to know what could be causing it. Also, my onboard sound is being funny. I have Logitech Z-640 speakers and when i go into the sound card prefs and press test sound it will say "right" "left" "center" and so on. Only when it gets to the "center" its coming out of the 2 front speakers. And when it says "surround left" it comes out of the left speaker in front. These are 5.1 speakers, anyone know what could be the problem?

look into your device manager, do u see yellow exclaimation mark? i used to have similar problem as yours. u might try reinstall your sound and lan driver manually.
