Remove the old IDE H/D
Rename G Drive to C DriveSet up Raid 1 to enable Mirroring.
Questions
Have seen Norton Ghost mentioned as tool for transferring data from one Hard disk to another. Are there any free utilities which are as good which can be downloaded to copy the data from IDE Drive to SATA Drive. When confirmed all data is transferred. What do I need to do in BIOS to change reboot from new SATA Drive G rather than the IDE H/D
Once bios is changed to test I assume I then unplug IDE hard drive from power and data plugsCheck system reboots from SATA Drive G
Then rename SATA Drive G to Drive C
Do I then need to go in and change the Bios?
Remove old IDE Drive
Set up Raid 1 for SATA drives C and Drive F.
Is the correct order of changes or is there is an easier way.

A little advice. You cannot copy a system from one drive (C: for example) to another drive (G:) and have the system work on G:. There are many references in the Registry that tie the system to the drive it was installed on.

Personally I would leave the 20gb as the C: drive and use the 80gb for storage.
But you can do the copy and then switch the drive assignments. Make the G: drive C: and it will be fine. Of course the G: drive (old C:) will not be able to be booted any longer.
My problem was with "Check system reboots from SATA Drive G". That wouldn't work.

It would be easier to leave C drive in. I have bought two SATA drives to use on Raid 1. I can only seem to put two drives into my Dell 8100. So once I have copied the contents of C on to my G Drive I will have to remove it.

I don't know about your Dell, but most motherboards have two connectors on the motherboard for IDE devices. Each connector can handle two drives.
