I just replaced my powersupply. I am 99.99999% positive everything is hookedup to the power supply (the mother board light is on). The only thing not plugged in is a PCI-E plug (a 3x2) that plugs into next the CPU fan, but my mobo takes the 2x2 which i plugged in. There also is a very tiny cable plug that has thee holes in it. Not sure what that does/where it goes if at all.

Now before i hooked it all up and all the fans were spinning so i turned it off. shut the case plugged everythign in and when i hit power it doesnt work at all.

now when i turn it on the fans move a little then stop.

whats up?

Ok I have three MOBO connections. The one 20pin connecter to turn on the LED light, the 2x2 connection that is near the CPU/Fan, and then there is a single row of 6 pins on the motherboard then when i connect the battery supply to it doesn't work any more.

If i dont connect that and turn it on, the psu fan doesn't work either

You should continue with your other thread, not start a new one. It sounds like you bought a crappy power supply. I doubt anyone will tell you Chieftec is a quality brand name. How much did you pay? You should expect to pay at least $50 for a decent PSU, unless you find one on sale...& even then, you have to know what you're buying.
