i just built a computer. Everything is fine until about 2 weeks later when i turn it on and it freezes at the Mobo splash screen.

It does this on occasion and usually requires one or two restarts and then it is working fine. after that. no issues while it is still on. However, when i turn it off for the night. I have a 50-50 shot of it turning back on without freezing.

what are your guys thought on the problem. possible solutions?

when it does this its because the bios has no been able to identify all hardware components., the first boot and is able to identify them the second boot. u have to test and see which hardware component is the faulty one.
try removing the graphics card and boot, try removing one ram stick or switch ram sticks
etc etc....

Send it back!

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
