I am having a problem with a new envision 17" CRT monitor I bought. At first it was fine, but now the screen is kinda blurry and all the icons and text are shown almost like double images. I can see a second real blurry one right next to the original icon. Anyone know whats causing this?

Can you try it on a friends computer?

it's either the monitor or the video card.

Yup. Truth sometimes the last thing we wanna hear! Fact is, I don't know of any aspect of any graphics card that allows you to change the focus of the picture, so therefore, I am gonna say, it is a dodo.

"all the icons and text are shown almost like double images."

I can't think of any part of the monitor that would cause that. So I'm gonna guess the video card.

Are you using a VGA extension cable between the monitor and video card? That will cause the problem on occasion. HTH
