Hi, I'm looking at new mobos based on Athlon dual-core processors. It looks like most newer model mobos have only pci-express slots and my tv card is old pci-standard. Does this mean a new tv card? And I suppose my old AGP graphic card also has to be replaced? Obliged for any help here....

Unfortunately, your old AGP videocard will have to go.
However, I've never seen a mobo without at least one standard PCI slot. Even the upcoming Core i7 boards will have them. Are you sure the mobo you want is PCIless?

Look for a board based on the AMD 780G chipset. The integrated graphics are supposed to be excellent & you can always add a PCI-e video card later if the integrated proves to be inadequate. AFAIK, all boards still have standard PCI slots, so you'll still be able to use your TV card.
Depending on what you currently have, you *may* need a new power supply & RAM, plus the vast majority of new boards only have a single IDE/PATA channel so you may have to reconfigure your drives.

On the PCI option, sorry, an oversight on my part. So far, on the mobos that I've found featuring AMD 780G chipset, (e.g. Gigabyte) there's no „TVout/S-Video“ on graphics and my tv would die of fright if I approached it with high definition. Is this a feature of the chipset or does it hang on the motherboard type? And thanks for your patience
