Hello-- I just installed a new motherboard and when I turn on the power, the lights come on but I get no video out of my AGP card. The motherboard DOES NOT have built in video. I have tried two working graphics cards and each time, the monitor will not turn green and show anything. Suggestions? Kevin

Try re-seating the card.

What motherboard, what video card? Could it be an 8x AGP compatibility problem? Possibly a jumper not set correctly? Do you get any beeps when you try to bootup? Do all fans spin up as they should?

If you do not get a POST beep, the system is dead and you probably have a motherboard/CPU problem.

No beeps. Fans run fine but no beeps. Could it still be the CPU?

possible that you motherboard is stuffed. try using another motheroboard if you have one with all the same parts you have now. if you don't have another mobo use a friends. if you get the same problem it could be the cpu or the memory. try cleaning the teeth on you video card, if its an old video card it sometimes happens. on my old video card when the monitor wasn't coming up i cleaned the teeth with an eraser and it worked fine.
