I Just Bought A Acer Travelmate 2305LCI Laptop

Intel Celeron M 360 (Dothan) 1MB Cache 400FSB
256MB PC2700 SDRAM
40GB 5400RPM HDD
Ingrated ACER Wireless B/G MINI PCI Card
15.4'' WXGA TFT

It Sounds A Good Spec And The Celeron M Can Keep Up With A 1.4Ghz Pentium M Banias Maybe It's Even A Little Faster However It Seem Pretty Slow Is There Anyway I Can Speed It Up

P.S Does Anyone know if i could put a pentium M in it i had A LOOK UNDER THE FLAPS and there is a cpu socket with the cpu in all i need to do to remove is turn a screw and unclip the cooling system

I Got A
Athlon 2200+
512MB PC133 SDRAM
80Gb Hard Drive
64MB Geforce 3 TI500
Syntax SV266A
2MBPS Broadband
Windows XP MCE 2005

Mike You Obviously Don't Know What Your Talking About The Celeron M Is Not A Celeron It's A Totally New Processor Just Like The Pentium M Is Nothing To Do With The Pentium 4 The Celeron M Is A Pentium M In This Case The Celeron M 360 Is A Pentium M Dothan With Only 1MB Of Cache And No Speedstep Technology It Is Proven That The Celeron M Is Slightly Faster Than Thr 1.4 Banias Pentium M Due To The Same Cache Size And Better Core

Did you know that celeron M actually consumes considerably more energy when idle. As a result, while the processor and the notebook may be cheaper than a model equipped with a Pentium M, the battery time will definitely be shorter.

Well, If The Celeron M Is So Friggin Good, How Come It's Not Good Enough For You? Why Didn't You Just Buy The Pentiun M To Begin With? And Why The Hell Do You Continue To Type Like This Even Though You've Been Asked On Several Occasions To STOP?

given that battery life is one of the most important factors on a laptop, and that the celeron uses more battery and still only has half the cache of a Pentium, I still stick with my original post that it isnt as good of a chip.
