New GFX card will require new power supply

I'm looking to replace my ATI Radeon HD2400 Pro card with the POWERCOLOR AX5770. Found that the new card will require a 450W power supply; while mine is currently 300W. Given the new card requires 450W, should I get a new PSU that is higher than 450W to support everything else in my PC?

Just to clarify...the new card does not require 450W, the 450W recommendation is for an entire system including the HD 5770.

According to the follwing site, a system with an HD 5770 under full load consumes approx 284W. That's too close for comfort for a 300W PSU.

Make sure that you get a reliable name brand unit. The PSU is no place to be cutting corners but you *should* be able to find some good "after rebate" deals at newegg. For example:
