I bought my computer about two weeks ago, and I have noticed this horribly annoying lag when typing. Also, it struggles to play videos, even when they are fully loaded. The typing lag occurs about every 10 seconds. The lag also seems to affect everything else, they typing is just the most annoying. When it freezes, I can do nothing on screen but move my mouse and wait. The lag lasts for two seconds, then things catch up. Please help! I don't know why a brand new computer would do this. PS, I am running vista.

Did you install a firewall? You may have loads of malware on the 2 week old computer.
Download and use both Ccleaner Slim and Malwarebytes. And get behind a firewall, either hardware or software. Get the programs I mentioned at the links below.
