Hello,
I'm asking around and thought this is one of the best place to do as well...Below are the two main components that I have chosen so far in my quest for a new system. I was browsing sites for a new case but was amazed to find so many different kinds. Some are modded and have cool features...I'm not sure if i really need it. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm looking at a 400W-500W case with mini cooling fans...

Amazing place for ALL your computing needs. It has the best prices and the best, fast service.... let me tell ya. If you knew about NewEgg.... you wouldn't even think of trying any other sites or retailers. I highly suggest you get all of your hardware from there. They have GREAT prices. All my computing needs comes from NewEgg. [Except if like I need a new cable or something] .........
Go there, and check out the prices. As for your memory, I highly suggest Corsair.

The Athlon 64's are kicking butt and taking names with Doom 3, and on par with the intel in most everything else. Why not an Athlon 64?
Don't want an Intel vs. AMD flame war or anything. Just want to see you get the most for your money.
try ncix.com as a buddy of mine is up there, and evidently they got some great prices.
MCSE, MCSA Messaging, baby!

Yes. Zipzoomfly.com is also an amazing place. And about the AMD that is a very good idea, you can get a amd 64 socket 754 2800+ for 150 dollars. I would suggest looking at them. You won't be able to get much upgrading out of them though because AMD is focusing on the Socket 939's now.

i did look at newegg.com, but they don't ship to canada :(
I'll look into AMD...is that 150 Cdn?? hehe just wondering.
