new case with extra fans

Specs: Windows Vista, QX6850 intel 4gb RAM
Hi I,m tranplanting my all my components into another newer type gaming case. the Coolermaster(HAF 932..and my question is my old case only has 1 small side fan & 1 exhaust fan but my new case has 1 x230mm front fan, 1x 230mm side fan 1x 230mm top fan and 1x 140mm exhaust fan my mobo is a ASUS extreme striker. can u tell me where i plug in the extra fans. do they go into my existing mobo and if so how will they be labelled so i can reconise them and any other info i might require.many thanks for all your help..:)

Well what kind of connectors are on the casefans? Many are standard molex and would connect direct to the powersupply rather than motherboard. If they have three wire motherboard connectors then you need to check your motherboard to see if there are any/sufficient available fan headers. Your motherboard manual will give a full description of the type and location of such headers. If there are not enough motherboard headers then you may need to get some molex/fan adaptors

Although there are plenty of so-called "gaming cases" with have cooling fans all over the place, tests have shown that all you really need is a single rear exhaust fan, nothing else. Front intake fans are of little benefit & side panel fans disrupt the desired "front to rear" airflow.

As for the fan connections, Richard59 said it....if your motherboard doesn't have enough fan headers to plug into, you'll have to connect directly to the PSU, which means adapters will probably be needed.
