Hi all,
I've been running my computer for almost half a year now with no problem and i decided to buy a new case and cpu fan. I bought the Thermaltake Special TR2-M2 A4002D fan and the Skyhawk PSR4638SLS case. I moved everything over to the new case, pressed the power button, and it only came on for less than a second. I figured i might have had the motherboard screwed in to tight, so i unscrewed it a little and now the computer starts..the hard drive makes noise but the computer doesnt seem to be going through the boot process (no beep, little hard drive noise). I also noticed that no lights on the front of the case light up, except for the hard drive light for less than a second after being turned on. Nothing appears on the monitor, the light stays amber the whole time. All fans are working fine, including the new one. After all this, I took the mobo out of the new case and put it back in the old one, then put back in the original Athlon fan. It still doesnt work, the same things happen as before. Any ideas you have would be appreciated - thanks in advance

the most important thing when doing this is to make sure that the motherbaord isnt touching the side of the case if it has then you could have blown the board make sure that all connections are in properly and that no metal is touching metal other than what should be ! try booting just using the cpu 1 stick of ram and graphics card if that dont work then its probly fried
