Greetings!

Im considering a new computer build. It will be my first time. This what I had in mind:

Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe mb socket A
AMD CPU Athhlon XP 3000
DDR Corsair 184 pin PC 3200 512mbx2 - dual channel

NEC 16x double layer DVD/rw drive
lite-on LTR-523275 rw drive
samsung sfd321B.LBL1 3.5 floppy drive

Western Digital 120mb & 250mb hd, 8mb cache 7200rpm.

Thermaltake VA4000 Seris Sviking Black mid tower case
Thermaltake Silent Sure power 420w

Please let me know of this set up. Any advice will be most appreciative:)

you mean gb on the hard drive's?

you could save a little money and get a 2500+ and o/c it too a 3200+. however i'm only making this as a suggestion.

your setup will work but what will you mainly be using this machine for?

Athlon xp 2500+ @2.17
pc 3200 512mb ram
radeon 9200se
win xp home oem

your right gb on the hd's:)

I already have a CPU Athhlon XP 3000 from my present system. my mb died.

Computer will be used for occasional gaming, mostly storing and playing my mp3's.
