New 9800pro

I have to make it quick, I just brought a new Saph 9800pro. A few mins into some games, like call of duty and and Far Cry. the puter stops responding and says "Hardware has stopped reciving commands from driver 9800pro" or something. Then the VPU tries to re-establish hardware acceleration and fails and I must restart the puter. I have tried many drivers, even the "Omega" driver and such. To no avail. I've turned off fast writes, set to AGPx4 with no luck. uninstalled SMARTGART- nothing.
