Product: Nvidea networking controler / Nvidia nforce4 sli (ck8-04) - lan controller (phy: marvell 88e1116) pci

My LAN connection isn't visible in network connections. It works OK and wireless connection does show up, but wired connection doesn't. The device is enabled and working in device manager. Machine is XP SP-3

Some basic error would be my guess in the OS. I doubt a virus would cause that.

Might just let it be. As you say it works.

At some point you may have to fool with it but until then you may have to use ipconfig to change settings if needed.
