Specs: Windows XP
I installed windows 2000 professional for netvista M42 machine. Other all divers detected but usb coudln't detect ....what do i do

The USB controllers must be enabled in the computer's bios Setup.

2000 has built in support for USB 1.1 - that's installed automatically when you install the operating system.

USB 2.0 support is installed

- ONLY AFTER the main chipset drivers have been installed

Software and device drivers - NetVista
Click on the link for your M42 machine type - the number is on the label on the outside of the computer

You MUST install the INF Update Utility (the Main Chipset "Drivers")

- ONLY if 2000 has SP4 or later updates installed in it

USB 2.0 devices not functioning properly after installing retail version of Microsoft Windows 2000 - NetVista / ThinkCentre
