Specs: Windows XP, 3 GHZ, 2.5 G Ram
i have 2 SATA HDD, one is 80 G, the second is 320 G, i tried to connect both to one computer so the 80 G would be the master with the operating system, and the 320 G is the slave, i tried everything but still not working, any clue

Not enough information. What happens when you boot?

Do you have operating systems installed on either?
If so, were the drives moved from a working system?

The options in the BIOS (setup) screens should allow you to choose which hard drive to be first in the boot order.

1st: when i boot it takes too long time with Windows starting screen "about 40 mins" then Windows starts normally but can't see the 320 G HDD, both HDD are NTFS

2nd: Yes, i have operating system on both, the 80 G HDD has a recently installed system (installed on the same machine), and the 320 G HDD has system too but not working correctly

3rd: i already choose the 80 G HDD to be 1st booting

There is no master or slave with SATA HDDs. All you need to do is connect them to the motherboard, bootup, immediately enter the BIOS to confirm that both drives are properly detected, then choose which drive you want to boot from in the boot order settings. Make sure to save your changes before you exit.
