Need to buy a new board to install Win7.

Specs: Windows7, 2
I have a P4, 3.2, 32bit CPU with heatsink, 2Gig DDR2 memory and all the rest. Would like some advice on which would be a good board to use for average user. No gamers or big on anything else. Just Senior Citicen stuff. Thanks.

Do you have a board now or not? If you do, why do you need to replace it? Is your P4 a socket 478 or 775?

Could find out the old board was a MSI PM8PM-V which is not available anymore.

If u buy a new board u will have to buy other components(cpu, ram etc). Answer mickliq question.

The MSI PM8PM-V was a horrible VIA based board. Have a look at these 2 sites & make sure to check the CPU support lists. If you see a board that interests you, post back for an opinion :
