Hi all
I have this AMD Duron system with:
1x 256 MB PC2100 and 1x256 MB PC2700@2100 DDR SDRam.
Now, I'd like to add another 512MB, but the PC2100 and 2700 are more expensive than a PC3200 module. The last one is actually on sale for about 40 dollar.
Now my question is, can I just add this one, or do you recommend not to? It should clock down, wouldn't it? Any thoughts appreciated.

Yep! It will adjust to the same speed the 2100 is running at. Which is 266mhz. Which probably is the same speed your cpu is running at.
