I am having a problem with my video card, i dunno what is the hardware, i tried to find out, i don't have the software, this is a computer i bought to another friend and he doesn't know either I EVEN TRIED TO RUN THE dxdiag but display says it is unknown!!! PLEase help
Does the monitor cable connect to an actual card or to the motherboard? By software, do you mean the drivers? The simpliest way may be to open the case & have a look for a model number.
oK MY hardaware is a via/s3g unichrome pro IGP IT'S The only place i could see this cause in control panel it says unknown Motherboard FOXCONN P4M800P7MA
If you just built this computer you should have a CD for the MBoard. You need to install ALL the drivers from that disk. If you don't have the disk (shame on you) then go to the Foxconn (winfast) site and download all drivers.
LOL friend, the truth is that the guy who buitl this up is a moron, this is my cousin's computer and i am trying to fix it, but I don't wanna have to do anything with that guy cause he is awlays bringing copied pirate softwares and i hhate that so i told him to scram, jeje let me see what I can do and I will post now my progress I FOund THe original cd of the mother board an will install now
