Need help downloading updates

Hey guys anyway im having trouble updating my computer. I want to update my mobo and chip and all that but im not sure where to go and start. Can someone point out where i can go adn dl all this. Sorry if i posted in the wrong board. Oh yeah for some reason whenever i update my video card with the lastest update it for some reason slows down my computer. Thxs in advance

A good computer maxim - why do you want to update the MB and "chip" (I assume you mean the BIOS????). IF you do really mean the BIOS then I would suggest you leave well alone unless you know what you are doing!

oh ite but what abuot the vid card problem. I tried updating it and it slows down my computer. Any thuoghts on that?

If you install a newer driver and it causes problems, go back to the older version.

The newest is not always the best. I agree with the others.
