|Yeah, looks like that's an nF3 250Gb chipset-based board. I really hate to say it, but unless you switch motherboards or buy a completely new system, you'll have to go back to XP for good performance. The problem is that with a dual-core processor, the nf3 doesn't know how to use the AGP bus in a way that Win7 expects. |
Adding a Radeon HD 2600Pro (or the 4650 as jam suggested) will only make things worse; Win7 will completely turn off hardware acceleration as soon as you add an ATI card to your dual-core NF3 system.
The NF3 was a botched chipset from the beginning--it just took a new version of Windows to unveil its shortcomings. Intel and VIA chipsets from 2003 (and earlier) work fine under Win7.
