I find absolutely nothing useful when I search on the web with: Pryon E7300xpp

The only thing I can tell from that after looking at the meagre Pyron systems info on the web is it probably has an Intel E7300 cpu, and it may have been assembled and sold in 2009.

It's likely your system has a retail mboard model, which may or may not have a Pryon bios version on it.

The model, sometimes the make, of a retail mboard model is usually printed on the mboard's surface in obvious larger characters, often between the slots.

If you see that, tell us what it is.

Then we can point you to where to get the drivers.

Download this and run it. It will identify the hardware on your computer, and with that info you can search for drivers:

Thank you Tubesandwires but my problem has been solved the guy who reinstalled Windows said he thought there might have been a conflict between the new video card and the sound card so he disabled the sound of the video card and as the audio was working fine he left it at that so I am happy and thank you again for your time and effort.

We're glad to hear you solved your problem.

However, it wasn't necessary to re-install Windows for that problem alone.

You don't learn how to fix your problems by re-installing Windows.
