hi all! i have a video card with cancer(16mb vodoo> that needs a new donor/new video card,and my motherboard- asus a7v266e-c only accepts a 4x agp,and i was wondering what would be the best 4x agp be that can play most games,but not all of course like spiderman,some sports games,anyways in a mid level gamer.Im not a far cry,or doom kinda guy.waht 4xagp card would best suit my profile for under 50.00?if there are any?

if he gets that card he will also have to upgrade his PSU too cause of the power requirements that card draws from the board. That card requires almost twice as much juice than the voodoo card. He should try and search for the following cards on-line which come on inline to the power his agp slot can allocate from his power supply: S3 Savage III 32MB(3dfx based) by Creative Labs Voodoo III 3000 16MB by 3dfx Radeon DDR 64MB AGP by ATi I wouldn't go any higher than a 64MB DDR AGP video card for that system cause of the power requirements. If you go any higher than 64MB DDR AGP the card won't last long cause it will run hot from being underpowered.

And the cards you suggested are antiques! chuuch, I highly suggest you don't take JChapoton's advice but since you don't seem to be getting any other replies, why not try posting in the gaming forum? thanks for the advice.i posted in gaming as advised to,and i like that card from newegg.Sweet lookin card.i have a 400wttpsu generic.My system is not your high end,but it suits me well,and does the job for what i need it for,but my agp card chokes,farts,burpps when i try to play a few low end games.do you guys recommend ebay for a used one?i just saw one for 25.00u.s?ive bought some things before,and havent had a problem?hope i dont sound like a cheapo.
