I'm looking for a consumer grade NAS device that has both USB(or eSATA) and Ethernet connections. But here is the important part: both interfaces need to be usable simultaneously. I need to have this plugged into a computer via USB/eSATA while the drive is also available over the network. Can anyone point me to a specific device that does this?

The LinkStations (from Buffalo) have ethernet and USB connections, but I can't find anywhere that would suggest they can both be used at the same time...

The USB port is probably an output for a USB drive or printer. It is highly unlikely the USB port is an input.
