i have recently had my drive reformatted. Since this i havent been able to play 3d games, SOF, qUAKE 3, hangs on grey screen. i HAVE UPDATED LATEST NVIDIA DRIVERS. bEFORE REFORMAT GAMES WORKED FINE. one thing i suspect is that the computer is looking for a pci card(mine is on board)I think pci drivers may have been installed because under system devices i see 'ali pci to isa', 'pci to pci bridge'and 'ali agp system controller'Should i disable these?

did you install the lastest ALI chipset driver for your agp?/ maybe that will help

How much Mem does your onboard graphics controller have .My PC had i810 Graphics with only 4 MB of Mem . I could not play Quake III , or Nascar 4 , Medal of Honor etc. My PC is P3 750MHZ .After I disabled the onboard Graphics and installed a 32MB ATI RADEON Graphics card the games run great , with very good detail ! Check what the limits of your onboard graphics are , usally they are not good for gaming !
