Specs: Windows 7
ok i'm not the best person for comp, i like working with them but i'm no genius. just the other day my video card started acting up, so i updated the driver. only to find out it was up to date. so i checked the device status and it says "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" i can still see on my monitor, and i can watch video's *lousy but visible* how do i tell if its something internal or just my card has bitten the dust? oh and i just updated to windows seven like a month ago, i'm using a Nvidia GeForce 8800gt. and i've been using this vid card for bout 1-2 years. worked fine till like two days ago.

try uninstall and reinstall your driver in computer management-device manager-display adapter. I think you just got a faulty driver.

i have attempted that, the uninstall and reinstall worked but the code 43 is still there. so it had little effect.
