my usb is showing 0 bytes space...

Specs: Windows XP, 1 gb

my usb get recognized by computer but it doesnot open........ it shows 0 bytes disk space and when i try to open it it shows to insert disk ............. although its usb ..........

Look for the flash drive in Windows disk management. If it shows there, post all the information listed there for that drive.

i have the same problem with my 4 gb transcend pen drive.plz let me know how to solve the problem when you get it...

To both posters.

If you see the drive listed in Disk management then you may be able to repair the partition by using a utility called testdisk. Read all the tutorials(help files) before attempting to use. Get testdisk at the link below.
