I inserted it into a friends USB hub and it failed to recognize it. So i tried over 7 times and it put it back in my system to find out that the file system was corrupt.I've tried low level formatting among others but it didn't work.
USB jumpdrives don't last forever & should NOT be relied upon for long term storage. If it was working up until you tried it in your friend's machine, there may be a problem with his USB ports. Did you plug into a port on the motherboard (rear of case) or the front of the case?
