My system goes off suddenly and restarts

Specs: Windows XP
Hi recently i bought the accessories and assemled PC for video editting.
Processor- AMD Phenom II X4 965
M Board- ASUS M4A785TD - VEV O
Graphic card - 1gb Nvidia ge force 9600 GT GDDR 3


While working suddenly it turns off and restarts and sasy "The system has recoverded from a serious error"
And gives details :

The following files will be included in this error report



What could be the problem.
Kindly someone can help me .

This could be caused by a number of things:

1. Ensure that the PC is not overheating. You need to ensure adequate thermal paste has been applied to the CPU and heatsink. AMD processors run at high temperatures!
2. Make sure the memory and components (i.e. video card, PCI cards etc) are correctly seated. If you are unsure remove them and re-install.
3. Ensure the motherboard is adequately earthed. For this please ensure that all the holes in the motherboard are utilised to secure it to the chasis. Also ensure there is no debris around the chasis.
4. Ensure the connection to the power supply is secure.
5. Ensure that all the correct and latest system drivers have been installed.
6. Ensure the lastest BIOS is installed on the mobo.
