Madam or sir, Actually last year when I assemble
my computer then my RAM(which is 1GB) in
system properties is show 960 MB.Then, after of
couple month it is showing 768 MB.Plz help me.

By chance are you using an on board graphic's card if so the video card might be sharing your onboard memory. This is why it shows less memory because it's be allocated to video

Yeah, a gig of ram is actually 1024 meg. The difference between 1024 and 960 is 64 meg, between 1024 and 768 it's 256 meg. Those are standard memory sizes and could be due to video usage. Or depending on the capacities of your ram sticks, maybe one of them has failed.
